1964-1966 example: T0214D would be Toledo, February 14, day shift. Note there is no indication of the particular year. You would need to check the partial VIN for the model year.
Month dating by letter was done after the 1967 model year.
1967-1972 example: C7R25N would be Cleveland, 1967, October 25, night shift. In this example this Powerglide was built in October of 1966 for the 1967 model year.
Although the Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission was ordered and reported under RPO M35 for all years it was available, there were many variations of the transmission depending on which engine it was being installed behind. For example, in 1966 and 1967 there were no fewer than 7 versions for each year.
