Monte Carlo
Interesting paperwork from one dealer. Note the Price Sheet has the MSRP along with the dealer's price; indicates how much profit a dealer made on options.
Dealers did not always charge the customer the MSRP on options. Often the costs were rounded off such as the 350 V8 cost the customer $26.00 where the MSRP was $26.35. But the customer was charged $217.00 for the automatic transmission that has an MSRP of $216.50. It all kind of washes out in the end, the customer's cost of all the options is shown as $742 while the MSRP for those options is $750.40. Note the dealer's cost of $601.98 indicating the dealer made about $150 on the options and, overall, about $800 on the car. Fair for all.

Of note on this invoice, U14 Special Instrumentation, F40 Special

Heavily optioned SS454 convertible. Final sticker price of $5523.85; what would it be worth
today?
